Annabelle McIntyre and Bronwyn Cox nominated for the Crew of the Year Awards at Australian Rower of the Year Awards

West Australian rowers Annabelle McIntyre and Bronwyn Cox have been nominated in the Female Athlete/Crew of the Year Award for the Hancock Prospecting 2019 Rower of the Year Awards.

The women’s pair and women’s eight crews are both nominees for the Crew of the Year Award.



McIntyre won two silver medals at the 2019 World Rowing Championships in Linz Ottensheim, Austria in the Pair and Eight is nominated in both categories. With 23-year-old also part of the crew in both boats that combining for two gold and two silver medals at World Rowing Cup II and World Rowing Cup III in Poznan and Rotterdam respectively.

Cox, who is part of the women’s eight crew earned silver at the World Championships, having previously earned gold at the World Rowing Cup II and silver at World Rowing Cup II.
