Aussie Rollers Keep on Rollin

WAIS wheelchair basketball athletes Brad Ness, Justin Eveson, Shaun Norris and Michael Hartnett have helped the Australian Rollers continue their winning streak at the Paralympics to four in a row.

Australia edged out Israel 66-59 in a thrilling clash that had Israel in front for much of the match. Australia was lifted to victory on the back of 30 points to Ness and 13 to Eveson.

Australia will face the USA today hoping to record a clear path through to the quarter finals and a match against a lower seeded team.

The women’s wheelchair team has not been so smooth through the group stage, suffering a second loss in four matches, this time against Germany 64-56.
