Brianna Throssell books semifinal spot in 100m butterfly

Rio Olympian Brianna Throssell with strong start to Tokyo campaign by qualifying for 100m butterfly semifinal.

Swimming in the fifth and final heat, Throssell stopped the clock in 58.08 to finish fifth and book the last spot in the semifinal.

“I just scraped through in 16th place so pretty excited to get another swim tomorrow morning but my main focus is the 200 fly at this meet.

Swimming competition continues on Tuesday with Zac Incerti likely to compete in the men’s 4x100m freestyle relay heat.
