After an excellent performance Zappelli finished the qualification round in 18th position with a score of 629.9.

Following their performance on day two Brock Ingram, Davinia Lefroy and the remainder of the LTA Mixed Coxed Four crew competed in repechage two.

They finished the race in third place to qualify for Final B, narrowly missing out on Final A by 0.8 seconds.
