Peter Bol and Chad Perris take wins at Sydney Track Classic

WAIS graduates Peter Bol and Chad Perris have claimed victories in the men’s 800m and men’s 100m ambulatory at the Sydney Track Classic on Saturday February 22.
 
The men’s 800m came down to the final 100m with Peter Bol stopping the clock following two laps of the track in one minute 45.85 seconds, holding off a late charge from Joseph Deng.
 
Chad Perris who is now based out of the AIS in Canberra produced another dominant display in the 100m ambulatory clocking 11.18secs for the win.
 
In the women’s 100m hurdles Brianna Beahan continued her consistent domestic season, finishing second with a time of 13.2 secs, just edged by Liz Clay (New South Wales).
 
Ian Dewhurst took second in the men’s 400m hurdles, crossing the lines in 50.81secs, beaten by a dominant Christoph Douglas (Victoria).
