The men’s competition sees Kurtis Marschall, who has qualified for his second Olympic Games back in action. Having been close to improving his outdoor PB of 5.81m he will be looking to rise above that here. Angus Armstrong will continue his Olympic qualifying hunt.

In the 800m Peter Bol, is eyeing off the Olympic qualifying time of 1min 45.2secs. The Rio Olympian will be hoping to book his ticket to a second Olympic Games. Earlier this month he was three hundreths of a second off the time, and with his form running hot will be hoping to stop the clock in Queensland.

The women’s 100m hurdles continues to be extremely competitive with up to five athletes aiming for up to three spots for Australia at the Tokyo Games. Brianna Beahan will be looking to solidify her case for selection with a strong run. She faces competition from Liz Clay, Abbiee Taddeo, Hannah Jones and Celeste Mucci.
