Three Cyclists Selected in Track World Championship Team

Three WAIS/AIS cyclists have been selected in the ‘Cyclones’ Australian Track Cycling team for the upcoming UCI Track Cycling World Championships.

Scott SunderlandRyan Bayley, Scott Sunderland and Cameron Meyer will travel to Manchester in Great Britain for the event, which runs from the 26th to the 30th of March and forms a crucial part of the team’s Olympic preparations.

25-year old Bayley and 19-year old Sunderland will form a part of the seven-man Men’s Sprint Team while 20-year old Meyer has been chosen in the extended 10-man Men’s Endurance Team.

Meyer will travel ahead of his WAIS/AIS teammates, with the track endurance riders to participate in a pre-World Championships training camp in Bordeaux in France from the 10th to the 22nd of March. Following the camp the Endurance Team will be finalised for Manchester.
