The WAIS netball development squad has enjoyed a strong 56-36 win over the Demons in its latest WA Premier League outing.

WAIS was too good over four quarters and displayed some fine attacking ball movement to breakdown a strong opponent.

WAIS won every quarter en route to a final margin of 20 points with the WAIS girls particularly impressive in their intensity across the court.

Whilst there were still many unforced errors theteam’s work rate continued to create scoring opportunities, which were finished by an in form forward third.

Ashleigh Neal backed up her strong performance from last week with a solid team game and finished with 24goals from 27 attempts.

The shooters spread the load evenly with Sarah East making 24 from 32, and Amy Fisher putting up 8 from 11 in the first quarter.

Briony Carlyon directed play in the middle and was well supported in transition by Alicia Janz and Sarah Tatam.

WAIS faces a clash against the Rangers next Tuesday with form and confidence on a high.
