Hockeyroos and China Remain Tied Three Games into Test Series

After their Series win over Spain late last month, the Hockeyroos sit neck and neck with China three games into their five match Test Series in Perth.
Game one saw the Australians suffer defeat, going down to the visiting side 1-3.
The Chinese side came out of the gates fast racing away to a three goal lead by half-time.
As the home side returned for the second half they had a greater sense of urgency about them however were unable to completely pull the game back, scoring a singular goal in the third quarter.
Game two saw the Hockeyroos bounce back, truly showing their class as they took a 5-0 victory over the Chinese.
Just as the visitors had the previous game, the Australians ran away to an early lead, notching up four of their five goals prior to half time.
The Aussies rounded off their score tally in the fourth, Emily Hurtz finding the net for her side.
Heading in to game three of the Series it was a level playing field, both sides with a win to their name.
The Chinese got an early lead in the match converting a penalty corner in the seventh minute.
The Hockeyroos responded in the second, scoring in the 23rd minute off of their own penalty corner.
Heading into the second half both sides had a number of opportunities to claim the lead to no avail.
As the full time whistle blew the scored remained at one a piece, the overall Series standings remaining in a tie.
Game four of the Test Series is scheduled to take place tomorrow night at 6pm (AWST) at Guildford Grammar Turf.
