Hard Work Key to Timmers’ High Goals

Gold Coast hopeful Zoe Timmers is aiming to compete at a second Commonwealth Games for Australia in 2018 and credits hard work and dedication as the driving force behind her goal.

Timmers spoke with the 6PR’s – Bouncing Around program and revealed that she was far from a natural talent in high jump, a sport that has now become a life-long passion.

The St Hilda’s physical education teacher will compete at next February’s National Titles looking to book one of three high jump positions available on the Australian team.
