In the women’s time trial, Michaela Anderson was the best of the WAIS riders, finishing eighth in a time of 26:10.28mins. Mel Hoskins claimed tenth position in 26:22.02mins and Bella King was eleventh in 27:01.75mins.

WAIS athlete Claire McLean won the LC1 title at the Para-Cycle Road Championships which were held con-currently.

Durbridge showed good form through the two days of road racing to finish fifth overall in the Criterium Final. West Australian Jordan Van Der Togt earned the win, with New Zealand’s Patrick Bevan second and third going to the ACT’s Michael Phelan.

Mel Hoskins supported by Anderson and King was able to snare victory in the women’s Criterium Final, to give WA a double success in Queensland. The WA riders worked together showing plenty of awareness and professionalism, amongst a talented pool of riders.
